Brent Dan '02

Brent Dan, one of the true workhorses in the storied history of the Monks Baseball program, fanned 220 batters in 220 innings and went 21-10 on the mound in four seasons at Saint Joseph's. During his junior season, as a member of the most successful squad in program history (38 wins, 6 losses), Dan posted one of the finest seasons by a Monks' pitcher by going 8-0 with a 1.86 earned-run average and 70 strikeouts in 63 innings.

Dan collected All-America and All-Northeast honors in 2001, as well as All-Conference accolades in 2001 and 2002, and helped lead the Monks to three conference titles, two New England Championships and a berth into the NAIA Super Regional. For his career, he currently ranks second in program history in wins (21) and strikeouts (220), and third in innings pitched (220).

While at St. Joe's, Dan was a member of a 2002 graduating class that posted the best four-year winning percentage, .708 (126-52), in program history.
