One of the preeminent post players in Saint Joseph’s men’s basketball history, Rubenskas netted 1,183 points with 838 rebounds, 220 blocked shots, 90 assists, and 85 steals in 108 career games

A pivotal player during the Monks’ 1987 postseason run, which resulted in the program’s first NAIA New England Championship and advancement to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament, Rubenskas played on four Western Maine Athletic Conference (WMAC) Championship teams and helped St. Joe’s post a 98-23 (.810) overall record with a 31-5 (.861) mark in conference play

Selected as the 1984 WMAC Rookie of the Year after averaging 12.0 PPG and leading the team with 231 rebounds and 83 blocked shots, a total that remains as the Monks’ single-season record at the time of his induction

Rubenskas remains among the men’s basketball program’s all-time leaders in rebounds (2nd), blocked shots (2nd), rebounding average (7.8, 4th), blocks average (1.3, 5th), field goals made (489, 13th), field goal percentage (53.7%, 13th), and points (23rd)
