STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College sophomore
Julia Ostrowski (Albany, NY) has been named to
the
2007 Longstreth/NFHCA All-New England West Region Second Team.
Ostrowski led the Monks in scoring this season, tallying
six goals and eight assists for 20 points for the 14-7 Monks.
The forward played a key role in helping St. Joe's reach
the ECAC Championship game against Bridgewater State College.
The Monks lost the hard-fought championship game, 1-0, with
Ostrowski out due to a hand injury she suffered in the ECAC
semifinal.
