Weston, MA - The SJC Field Hockey team scored early
and often in a blowout victory over the Regis Pride on Tuesday
afternoon. The Monks, who had six different players score a goal,
were lead by JR Gina Gaetani (Auburn, ME) who
registered a hat trick in the victory. FY Kayla
Nowell (Bridgton, ME), SO Julia Ostrowski
(Albany, NY) and SO Kerrie Boutin (Georgetown, ME)
each scored two goals apiece. FY Courtney Rague
(Old Orchard Beach, ME) and FY Maria Arsenault
(Berlin, NH) both found the back of the net as well. The Field
Hockey Women peppered Regis GK Elizabeth Kluchnick with an
astounding 46 shots.
The Monks (8-5) next travel to Waterville, ME Wednesday 10/17 to
take on the Colby College Mules.
