STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's field hockey seniors Sarah Bartell (Exeter, N.H.) and Ashley Walukevich (Kingston, N.H.) have earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Academic honors.

To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing, have competed a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

For Walukevich, a Political Science major, the award is the fourth academic honor of her collegiate career. A 2010 NAC All-Academic honoree, has also garnered a pair of National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Academic accolades for her efforts in the classroom.

For Bartell, a two-time First Team All-NAC selection, the conference academic honor is the first of her career. The Exercise Science major was also listed on the NFHCA All-Academic team following her junior season.
