Monks Feature 16 Players on NFHCA All-Academic Squad

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — A total of 16 Saint Joseph's College players are among the 2,300 student-athletes from 161 Division III institutions who have been named to the 2021 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

Seniors Isabella Anton (Mont Vernon, N.H.), Alexis Beardsley (Livermore, Maine), Emma Dubuc (Burlington, Vt.), Olivia Esposito (North Reading, Mass.) and Elly Walker (Scarborough, Maine), juniors Aimee Adams (Gardiner, Maine), Molly McCluskey (Orono, Maine), Megan Quirion (Oakland, Maine), Cailin Seavey (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) and Anna Walker (Scarborough, Maine), sophomores Kaelyn Blais (Berlin, N.H.) and Cailyn Wesley (Peabody, Mass.), and freshmen Kassidy Collins (Gardiner, Maine), Abbie Jacques (Mount Vernon, Maine), Danielle Libby (Windham, Maine), and Alison Michalik (Rutland, Mass.) have garnered NFHCA All-Academic Squad honors.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Johns Hopkins University led all institutions with the most National Academic Squad selections this year, placing 31 student-athletes on the list.

Appearing on the list for the fourth time are 323 student-athletes — seniors or fifth-year student-athletes who are four-year honorees have been distinguished in the award listing.
