Collins Earns Second-Consecutive GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Kassidy Collins (Gardiner, Maine) has been chosen as the GNAC Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week for the second-consecutive reporting period.

Collins posted a 2.33 GAA with an .837 save percentage in three games for the Monks last week, as she was well-tested stopping 36 of 43 shots. The sophomore keeper made 25 saves - one stop shy of the program's single-game record - in a 4-0 loss to #8 Kean on Sunday.

The second-year starter is currently the conference leader in goalkeeper minutes (540:55) and shutouts (3) and ranks second in saves (70), third in save percentage (.833), fourth in goals-against average (1.55), and seventh in fewest goals allowed (14).

Saint Joseph's will host Regis College on Wednesday at 5:00 PM.
