SOUTH PORTLAND, ME - The Saint Joseph's golf squad
finished sixth, with 338 team strokes, in the University of
Southern Maine Fall Classic at the Sable Oaks Golf Club on Monday.
Senior Andy LeConte (York, ME)
finished with an 18-hole total of 81 strokes to pace the Monks
crew.
LeConte finished the front nine tied for second
with 37 strokes, but posted a 44 on the back nine to finish in 16th
overall. Junior Matt Cotreau
(Lunenburg, MA) scored an 85 to place as the second-best SJC
participant, 25th overall.
