KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine – Saint Joseph's College finished fourth with a 329-team card in the UNE Men's Golf Invitational at the Cape Arundel Golf Club on Wednesday.
Coming off four-consecutive days of play in the Blazer Invitational and the GNAC Championship, the newly minted 2021-22 conference champs featured five new faces in today's event.
With a 294 card, the Nor'easters topped the standings, besting the University of Southern Maine (296) by just two strokes while Endicott College (308) placed third.
UNE's Jake Mielcarz led the field with a 1-over-par round of 70 to edge out USM's Brogan Kane by one stroke. Zach Ellsworth (USM), Tom Higgins (UNE), and John Welch (USM) tied for third with a 73 score.

- First-year Alex Beecher (South Portland, Maine) posted an 82
- Senior Johnathan Flynn (Holden, Mass.) registered an 84

- Freshman Devin Coonradt (Methuen, Mass.) carded an 88
