Mathieu Earns Second Consecutive GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Drew Mathieu (Windham, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Golfer of the Week for the second-consecutive reporting period. 

Mathieu tied for first with a 77 card and posted the lowest round score - an even par 36 on the front nine - in the 19th Annual John Queenan Memorial Tournament, which is hosted by St. Joe's annually at Point Sebago in Casco.

For Mathieu, the weekly GNAC honor is the third of his career as the 2021 GNAC Player and Rookie of the Year was named as the GNAC Rookie of the Week on September 27th, 2021 and the GNAC Golfer of the Week on September 6th, 2022. 

Saint Joseph's competes next at the Thomas College Invitational in Waterville, Maine on Saturday, September 17th.
