BETHEL, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College men's alpine ski team posted a pair of runner-up finishes in United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Reynolds Division action at Sunday River on Sunday afternoon.
THE RUNDOWN – (RACE #1):
- Freshman Caleb Gorton (Goffstown, N.H.) placed sixth (1:10.42, 36.05 – 34.37)
- Sophomore Tucker Davis (South Berwick, Maine) was seventh with a 1:22.42 (41.76 – 40.66)
- First-year Aidan Wolfinger (Bedford, N.H.) posted a 35.30 time on the second run
THE RUNDOWN – (RACE #2):
- Freshman Liam Strobeck (Charlotte, Vt.) won the nightcap race with a 1:01.63 (31.06 – 30.57) time
- Davis placed eighth (1:11.17, 35.26 – 35.91)
- Gorton was ninth with a 1:12.25 (39.45 – 32.80) performance
- Wolfinger finished 10th (1:15.04, 33.74 – 41.30)
