FARMINGTON, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College women's alpine ski team earned a pair of victories at Titcomb Mountain on Sunday afternoon. The Monks won the slalom with 10 place points and a 4:22.17 composite time and capped the sweep with a minimum six-point score and 3:31.83 time in the panel slalom.

The men finished third in the slalom with 24 place points (3:52.75 total time) and second in the panel slalom with 21 place points and a 3:17.57 time.

Today's races complete the 2022 United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) racing season, and for the second-consecutive year, Saint Joseph's brings home the Ricker Cup, which is awarded annually to the top combined men's and women's program in the USCSA Reynolds Division. The SJC women's team won all eight events this winter while the Monks' men won two events and placed second three times on the season.

The SJC women finished the regular season atop the Reynolds Division standings for the second-straight season while the men finished second in the league. For the first time in program history, both SJC teams will compete in the USCSCA Regionals, which take place next Saturday (giant slalom) and Sunday (slalom) at Sugarloaf.

For the women, today's victories increase the program's winning streak to 15 events, a string of success that began at the start of the 2021 season.
