STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's junior forward
Ray Eatmon (Huntington, NY) has
been listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for the third consecutive
week and fourth time overall this season.
Eatmon averaged 10.3 points and 11.0 rebounds in a
2-1 week for the Monks and grabbed a season-high 16 caroms in a win
over Mount Ida February 7th. The junior posted his sixth
double-double of the year with 12 points and 11 boards in a victory
over Suffolk February 5th.
The junior currently leads the Monks with 13.7 points and 9.1
rebounds per game averages. His 61.4% (108-176) success rate from
the field is tops on the team and ranks second in the conference,
as well as the State of Maine, in the category.
Eatmon's 9.1 caroms per contest currently ranks as
the 6th highest single-season average in program history.
The Monks (16-6, 10-5 GNAC), currently in third place in the
league, are slated to play at #2 Emerson College (15-7, 11-4 GNAC)
on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00 PM.
