STANDISH, ME - Three SJC senior athletes have agreed to share their experiences with Royal Blue followers during their spring trips on a new feature to the GOMONKS.com site called Monks Insider. Baseball player Mike Burdin (Gardiner, ME), lacrosse player Andrew Moravick (Biddeford, ME) and softball player Christy Wezowicz (Granville, MA) will be submitting blogs on a daily basis during their travels.
Burdin and the SJC Baseball team depart from Portland for Winter Haven, Florida early Saturday morning for a nine-game schedule. The team will return on Saturday, March 13th.
Moravick and the Monks Lacrosse team will play a pair of games this weekend in Brooklyn as the third-year program embarks upon its first spring break trip. St. Joe's will take on Bard College on Saturday and Mount St. Vincent on Sunday before heading back to the shores of Sebago.
Wezowicz and the Saint Joseph's Softball squad depart for Fort Myers, Florida on Sunday for a 10-game slate that concludes on Friday morning.
