KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saint Joseph's College (Maine) sophomore midfielder Kevin Melega (Easthampton, Mass.) is this week's Association of Division III Independents Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
In a 2-2 week, Melega scored three goals, including the game-winner in a 3-2 overtime victory at independent foe Green Mountain College. Melega also scored in regulation against Green Mountain and he provided the game-tying goal in an eventual loss at Colby College. Melega is coached by Michael Bolanz.
