Wylde Tabbed as GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and Saint Joseph's College freshman forward Henry Wylde (Perth, Western Australia) has been selected as the GNAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Wylde helped the Monks post a pair of GNAC wins with a goal and an assist in victories over Regis College and Albertus Magnus College last week. The first-year striker netted his second career goal in a 5-2 win at Regis on Wednesday and assisted on a tally in the Monks' 4-0 triumph over Albertus Magnus on Saturday.

In 10 games this fall, Wylde has tallied two goals and an assist for a total of five points. He is currently tied for third on the team in goals and fifth in points.

Saint Joseph's (8-3-1, 7-1-0 GNAC) will play at Colby-Sawyer College tomorrow in a GNAC contest set to start at 3:30 PM.
