Perry Collects CSC Academic All-District® Honors

STANDISH, Maine – The 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been released and Saint Joseph's College junior Shawn Perry (Plaistow, N.H.) has been honored.

To claim the prestigious accolade, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore status, be a starter or major contributor, and have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Perry, a Mathematics major and team captain, tallied 14 individual points in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships earlier this month after placing third in the 200-Back and fifth in the 100-Back and 400-IM events.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
