Saint Joseph's Participates in USM Husky Invitational

GORHAM, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College indoor track & field teams competed in the USM Husky Invitational on Saturday. The event was of the non-scoring variety.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Junior Ryan Farr (Gorham, Maine) finished second in the 400-Meter Dash (52.01)
  • Sophomore Tyler Ricker (Montpelier, Vt.) was third in the Long Jump (6.15m)
  • Freshman Abdirizak Abukar (Lewiston, Maine) placed fourth in the 400-Meter Dash (52.65)
  • Sophomore Dylan Dickey (Laconia, N.H.) finished sixth in the High Jump (1.75m)
  • Freshman Brayden Grant (Rochester, N.H.) was seventh in the 600-Meter Run (1:38.97)
  • Freshman Alexey Seredin (Peaks Island, Maine) placed seventh in the 3000-Meter Run (10:32.04)
  • Junior Wesley Hundley (Kennebunk, Maine) finished eighth in the Shot Put (10.83m) and Weight Throw (8.20m) events
  • Sophomore Ethan Shaw (Scarborough, Maine) finished ninth in the 800-Meter Run (2:28.24)

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Junior Brooklyn Goff (Biddeford, Maine) broke the SJC 55-Meter Hurdles record with an 8.95 time in the prelims and placed second in the finals with a 9.09 time; she was also fourth in the High Jump (1.51m) and fifth in the 200-Meter Dash (28.18)
  • Junior Aaliyah WilsonFalcone (Winthrop, Maine) finished third in the Triple Jump (9.84m)
  • Freshman Paige Sawyer (Ellsworth, Maine) placed fourth in the 55-Meter Hurdles (9.43)
  • Senior Kimberly Moulton (Franklin, Mass.) was eighth in the Weight Throw (11.65m)
  • Junior Abby O'Brien (Gorham, Maine) placed ninth in the Weight Throw (11.15m)
  • Sophomore Terry Cassetta (Sandy Hook, Conn.) finished ninth in the 3000-Meter Run (13:56.12)
  • Sophomore Hannah Vacco (Pembroke, N.H.) was 10th in the 1-Mile Run (8:26.58)

NEXT!

Saint Joseph's will compete at the State of Maine Championships at Bates College next Saturday.
