MEDFORD, Mass. - The Saint Joseph's College track & field teams competed in the Tufts University Snowflake Classic on Saturday. The competition was a non-scoring event.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Junior Billy Brooks (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed sixth in the 200-Meter (23.90), 18th in the 100-Meter (11.98)
- Senior Faisal Abdillahi (Lewiston, Maine) finished seventh in the 200-Meter (23.94) and 11th in the 400-Meter (52.92)
- Freshman Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.) placed 13th in the 3000-Meter (9:53.34)
- Freshman Jamie Carlson (Jericho, Vt.) was 14th in the 110-Meter hurdles (19.21) and 22nd in the 400-Meter hurdles (1:16.50)
- Junior Andrew Caron (Gardiner, Maine) finished 17th in the 3000-Meter (10:09.52)
- Junior Mark McCarraher (Franklin, Mass.) was 22nd in the 200-Meter (25.28) and 40th in the 400-Meter (59.26)
- Junior Connor Dufour (Augusta, Maine) placed 24th in the 200-Meter (25.69) and 35th in 400-Meter (57.53)
- Freshman Christien Morneweck (Burlington, Mass.) was 35th in the 200-Meter (27.44), 42nd in the 100-Meter (12.78)
- Junior Daniel Oser (Mansfield, Mass.) was 38th in the 200-Meter (30.44) and 58th in the 100-Meter (14.43)
- Sophomore Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine) placed 44th in the 800-Meter (2:19.06) and 59th in the 1500-Meter (4:38.04)
- Freshman Reid Duglenski (Waterbury, Conn.) finished 45th in the 100-Meter (12.86)
- Junior Taidghe Hagan (Reading, Mass.) placed 48th in the 800-Meter (2:20.35) and 63rd in the 1500-Meter (4:43.48)
- Senior Joe DiSalvo (Derry, N.H.) was 55th in the 800-Meter (2:25.49) and 66th in the 1500-Meter (4:45.72)
- Senior Robert Travers (Lebanon, Maine) finished 59th in the 100-Meter (20.89)
- The Monks' 4x100-Meter relay team, featuring Abdillahi, Brooks, Morneweck and McCarraher, placed sixth with a 51.68 effort
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Senior Heather Eaton (Lincolnville, Maine) finished seventh in the 5000-Meter (19:47.09)
- Freshman Norma Waggett (Saugus, Mass.) was 48th in the 100-Meter (15.61)
- Sophomore Gabby Lodge (Westbrook, Maine) placed 26th in the 200-Meter (31.81), 50th in the 100-Meter (15.87)
- Freshman Kyrie Harnden (Wilton, Maine) was 28th in the 200-Meter (32.09) and 29th in the 400-Meter (1:13.30)
- Sophomore Marisa Lundy (Merrimac, Mass.) placed 34th in the 800-Meter (2:57.56)
- Sophomore Rachel Calden (Jay, Maine) finished 36th in the 200-Meter (37.67) and 53rd in the 100-Meter (17.60)
Saint Joseph's returns to action next Saturday at the Bowdoin College Invitational.
