WATERVILLE, Maine - Saint Joseph's College competed in the 2016 State of Maine Outdoor Men's Track & Field Championship at Colby College on Saturday.
THE RUNDOWN
- Sophomore Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.) placed eighth in the 10000-Meter (36:24.81 – team record)
- Freshman Marshall Berninghausen (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) finished 11th in the hammer throw (32.90m – program record), 15th in the discus throw (24.80m), and 18th in the javelin throw (32.69m)
- Freshman Harry DeCotis (Quincy, Mass.) was 12th in the discus throw (26.72m) and 14th in the hammer throw (24.38m)
- Freshman David Free (North Scituate, R.I.) placed 14th in the shot put (8.89m) and discus throw (25.55m) events
- Freshman Alex Gutierrez (York, Maine) was 15th in the hammer throw (17.68m), 16th in the discus throw (21.41m), and 22nd in the javelin throw (27.15m)
- Senior Taidghe Hagan (Reading, Mass.) was 15th in the 1500-Meter (4:49.69)
- Freshman Kevin Cotter (Sandwich, Mass.) finished 15th in the shot put (8.67m)
- Freshman Malcolm Gocha (Plymouth, N.H.) was 16th in the 100-Meter (11.70)
- Junior Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine) finished 16th in the 800-Meter (2:14.48)
- Freshman Avery Liotta-Henderson (Waterbury, Conn.) was 19th in the 800-Meter (2:16.90)
- Freshman Joshua Hunter (Lawrence, Mass.) placed 23rd in the 100-Meter (13.42) and 28th in the 200-Meter (27.52)
