Monks Compete in Charger Invitational

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College men's cross country team competed in the 4th Annual Charger Invitational 5K at Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday. Grad student Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) paced the Monks and finished eighth overall with a 17:24.62 performance.

Plymouth State featured six of the top seven finishers, including race winner Michael Olson, who toured the 5K course in 15:55.58.

For the Monks, senior Devin Abbott (Berwick, Maine) placed ninth (17:32.86), junior Nick Carmosino (Acton, Maine) finished 26th (18:42.44), and sophomore Ethan Shaw (Scarborough, Maine) was 32nd (19:13.78).

Saint Joseph's will compete in the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 17th.
