St. Joe’s Mens Cross Country competes in UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, MASS. – The Saint Joseph's College men's cross country team competed in the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. With 39 scoring teams in attendance, the field was made up of 284 runners. Four of the eight GNAC Sponsoring Institutions were in attendance. Grad student Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) led his GNAC competitors for the 5 Mile trek finishing with a 27:57.62 performance. 

UMass Lowell had five runners in the top-25 to run away with the team win collecting 64 points. Franklin Pierce's Wondu Summa paced the field for a 23:55 individual win.

For the Monks, junior Nick Carmosino (Acton, Maine) kicked it in gear for a personal best time of 29:40, and sophomore Ethan Shaw (Scarborough, Maine) also joined the personal best party to pace out the 5 Mile run in 30:57.

Saint Joseph's will compete in Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday, September 24th.
