Hendricks Earns Second GNAC Weekly Honor of the Season

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College grad student Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this fall.

Hendricks paced the Monks with a 27:18.2 time and finished 46th overall in the 8K State of Maine Championship on Saturday. The 8K time is the fifth-fastest of his career and best since he posted a personal-best 26:41.2 effort in the 2019 NCAA Division III New England Region Cross Country Championships.

For Hendricks, the weekly honor is the ninth of his career and second of the season. He claimed the same award on September 19th.

Saint Joseph's will host the Runnin' Monks Invitational this Saturday. The men's 8K race is slated to start at 1:00 PM.
