Hendrix Earns GNAC Rookie Hat Trick

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's sophomore outfielder Theresa Hendrix (Scarborough, Maine/Cheverus) has garnered Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors for the third consecutive reporting period.

Hendrix hit .562 (9-16) with three runs, three doubles, a triple and five RBI in a 6-0 week for Saint Joseph's. The first-year outfielder went 3-4 with a double, triple and RBI in a victory over Southern Maine on Tuesday and was 2-3 with a run, double and three RBI against Emmanuel College on Thursday.

For the season, Hendrix is hitting a team-high .472 (34-72) and paces the Royal Blue in triples (7), slugging percentage (.833), and OBP (.530). She is also currently tied for the team-lead in hits and runs batted in (26) through 26 contests.

Saint Joseph's (22-4, 15-1 GNAC) will play at Rivier College on Friday in a GNAC twinbill set to begin at 4:00 PM.
