Softball Program to Host Fall Prospect Camp

STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College softball program will host a Fall Prospect Camp at Richard W. Bailey Field on Sunday September 11th. The camp is open to high school players who are focused on playing college softball and are currently in grades 9-12.

The camp, which will be staffed by Head Coach Jamie Smyth and Assistant Coach Travis Demmons along with current and former SJC players, will feature two different sessions. The first session focuses on offense and defense and will run three hours, starting at 1:00 PM. The second session is a 90-minute block for pitchers and catchers and begins at 4:00 PM.

Each player should bring their own softball equipment: bat, glove, cleats, pants, and any other equipment they feel necessary to participate. Catchers should bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided – but players are welcome to bring their own.
