FARMINGTON, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine ski team placed fourth with a 3:37.03 composite time in a panel slalom event at Titcomb Mountain on Saturday.
Bowdoin College won the event with a 3:27.69 total time while UMaine-Farmington placed second (3:28.46), UMaine-Orono finished third (3:33.87), and Colby Ski Club placed fifth (4:10.70).
Colby's Katie Queally claimed top individual honors with a 1:06.77 (33.26, 33.51) time.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Freshman Annie Cerminaro (Unityville, Pa.) finished fifth overall with a 1:08.25 total time after placing fourth (34.04) on the first run and fifth (34.21) on the second
- Freshman Jillian Luby (Wolfeboro, N.H.) was 16th with a 1:12.81 time after placing 15th (36.57) on the first leg and 14th (36.24) on the second stint
- Sophomore Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) was 26th (1:15.97) after finishing 25th (38.27, 37.70) on both runs
- Freshman Sarah Lachance (Auburn, Maine) placed 27th (1:17.78) with a 39.20 time (28th) on the first run and a 38.58 (27th) effort on the second
- Freshman Tucker Davis (South Berwick, Maine) placed 24th in the men's event with a 1:12.09 total time after placing 24th (36.14) in the first run and 26th (35.95) on the second
