BETHEL, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College women's alpine ski team notched a pair of victories United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Reynolds Division action at Sunday River on Sunday afternoon.
THE RUNDOWN – (RACE #1)
- Sophomore Jillian Luby (Wolfeboro, N.H.) won the first race with a 1:19.63 (40.09 – 39.54) total time
- Freshman Erica Irvin (Windham, N.H.) finished second (1:20.84, 40.09 – 40.75)
- Junior Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) posted a sixth-place finish (1:35.69, 43.43 – 52.26)
- First-year Kaitlyn Gerhard (Dover, N.H.) placed seventh (1:45.22, 51.71 – 53.51)
THE RUNDOWN – (RACE 2):
- Irvin won the second event with a 1:11.14 (35.89 – 35.25) composite time
- Luby finished a close second (1:11.38, 36.01 – 35.37)
- Hotchkiss was fourth with a 1:19.09 (40.07 – 39.02) effort
- Gerhard placed sixth (1:29.42, 44.71 – 44.71)
