STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore forward Grace Ramsdell (Wells, Maine) has been named as the Rookie of the Week by both organizations.

Ramsdell averaged 24.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals while shooting 60.6% (20-33) from the floor and 85.7% (6-7) from the free throw line in a pair of convincing conference victories last week. The sophomore forward tallied career-highs of 32 points and 14 rebounds in a 78-61 triumph at Rivier on Tuesday and added 16 points and seven boards in an 80-52 win over Lasell on Saturday.

Including this week's honors, Ramsdell has been named as the GNAC Rookie of the Week seven times and garnered MWBCA top rookie accolades on four occasions.

In 21 games this season Ramsdell is averaging 14.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 48.4% (119-246) from the field, 32.8% (21-64) from downtown, and 73.0% (46-63) from the charity stripe. The sophomore standout is currently tied for the team-lead in scoring average and leads the squad in rebounding, three-point shooting, field goals made (119), and blocked shots (13).

Saint Joseph's (14-7, 10-0 GNAC) will host Emmanuel College in a rematch of the 2023 GNAC Championship on Wednesday at 5:30 PM.
