Saint Joseph's Listed as 2022 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

STANDISH, Maine – The 2022 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Division I, II, III, and NAIA Academic Honor Squads have been announced and Saint Joseph's College is among the 400 institutions across the country to earn the accolade.

To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

Saint Joseph's is one of six Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) institutions to earn the 2022 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad award as the Monks are joined by Colby-Sawyer College, Dean College, Emmanuel College, Lasell University, and Simmons University on the esteemed list.

Last week the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll was announced and three SJC players were honored after posting a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Grad student Lydia Dexter (Oakland, Maine) and rising seniors Hannah Flaherty (Waltham, Mass.) and Tara Powers (Tyngsboro, Mass.) earned the high academic accolade.
