Willette Receives Third Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saint Joseph's College freshman midfielder Megan Willette (Waterville, Maine) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's soccer Player of the Week for the third time this season. Willette scored two goals and assisted on another in a 4-0 win over Green Mountain in the Div. III Independent Northeast Championship game. She also scored a goal in the Monks' 2-0 semifinal victory over Russell Sage. Willette, who is coached by Mike Bolanz, was selected to the All-Tournament team. On the year, she has 60 points on 25 goals and 10 assists.
