ST. JOE’S ROLLS PAST WHEELOCK

BOSTON, MA - Freshman Megan Willette (Waterville, Maine/Waterville) scored three goals and assisted on another as Saint Joseph's College handled Wheelock College 7-0. This was Willette's second hat trick of the season. The St. Joe's offensive explosion saw five different players find the back of the net.

Willette started things off for the Lady Monks with 2 goals in the first half followed byan assist on a goal scored by junior Michelle Crisp (Dedham, MA) in the 43rd minute.

St. Joe's continued to dominate in the second half, out-shooting Wheelock 22-0. First-year Heather Stanger (Rockport, MA) netted a pass from sophomore Jillian Leger (Westminster, MA) to start the second half scoring in the 68th minute.

Willette scored again twenty-eight seconds later to put the Lady Monks up 5-0. Leger recorded another assist as junior Karla Emerson (East Vassalboro, ME) scored in the 72nd minute. Freshman Katie Jordan (Sandwich, MA) scored her sixth goal of the season in the 75th minute.
