Standish, ME - The Monks improve to 5-3 with their second win in three days as they cruised past Maine Farmington 3-0 this afternoon.
Senior Michelle Crisp (Dedham, MA) netted the game winner in the sixth minute as sophomore Heather Stanger (Rockport, MA) eluded a Farmington (5-3) defender and delivered a perfect pass.
Sophomore Megan Willette (Waterville, ME) turned in her second two-goal performance of the week, connecting on a cross from first-year Anna Willis (Gorham, ME) to put the Monks up 2-0 at 19:24.
Willette added her second goal in the 89th minute, dribbling down the left side and beating the Farmington keeper.
First-year Monica Cuda (Everett, MA) had 2 saves in the win and junior Alix Raymond (West Hartford, CT) had 4 saves for Farmington.
St. Joe's plays at Lesley (MA) on October 1 at 1:00 PM.
