STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced its weekly awards and Saint Joseph's
sophomore forward Mikayla Call
(Portland, ME/McAuley HS) shares the Women's Soccer Co-Player of
the Week honor with Emerson's Rachel Lerma '10 (Irvine, CA).
Call scored tallied four goals and two assists in a 2-1 week for
St. Joe's, including a hat trick performance in a 6-2 victory over
Suffolk on September 30th.
A GNAC First Team All-Conference player as a freshman, Call led St.
Joe's in goals (15) and points (36) in 2007. She currently leads
the Lady Monks this season in both goals (8) and assists (3).
Saint Joseph's (5-4, 4-2 GNAC) will play host to GNAC foe Emerson
College (6-3-1, 4-2-0 GNAC) Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 PM.
