STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and a pair of Saint Joseph's College women's indoor track & field athletes have claimed accolades.
Junior Aaliyah WilsonFalcone (Winthrop, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week and junior Brooklyn Goff (Biddeford, Maine) has earned GNAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors.
WilsonFalcone earns the second weekly GNAC award of her young track & field career after winning the Triple Jump event with a 10.44m performance at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday.
Goff takes home the first indoor weekly honor of her career after placing second in the 55-Meter Hurdles (9.35) and seventh in the High Jump with a new team record 1.51m effort at USM.
Saint Joseph's is back in action next Saturday with an appearance in the Suffolk University Invitational at the New Balance Center in Boston.
