GORHAM, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College men's and women's indoor track & field teams were back at Southern Maine this week for the USM Open II. Seven colligate teams attended this contest. Southern Maine took home the team win for the Men (135pts) while SNHU came out on top for the Women (134pts). The Monks placed third overall for the Men (100pts) and eighth overall for the Women (19pts)

The meet was highlighted by multiple season bests and a new school record in the men's 4x400-meter relay. "Really proud of how our athletes have responded early in the season" adds Coach Burleson. "We have a mix of seasoned athletes and rookies who are looking to make an impact and rewrite the school record books this season. It's a fun group for our coaching staff and we are excited to get on some faster tracks in the next few weeks."
