Monks Fall to Saints in Opening Round of GNAC TournamentNovember 01, 2011BOSTON, MA – The third-seeded Saints of Emmanuel College defeated the sixth-seeded Monks of Saint Joseph’s College, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women’s Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday night. Senior outside hitter Jenna Ross (Centerburg, Ohio) slammed down 21 kills, including the 1,000th of her collegiate career, to lead the Saints past the Monks, 25-23, 22-25, 25-15, 25-19.
