2022 GNAC Women's Volleyball Tournament Bracket Announced

WINTHROP, Mass. Rivier University went a perect 13-0 in its conference regular season to nail down the top seed in next week's 2022 GNAC Tournament, as announcd by the league office on Saturday evening. Riv will host eighth-seeded Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Tuesday, November 1 at 7PM.

In search of its first GNAC title since 2014, Rivier fell as the No. 1 seed in last year's conference championship match, dropping a 3-1 result at home to Johnson & Wales University.

This year, JWU will serve as the No. 2 seed in the GNAC Tournament, having won each of the last six GNAC crowns in what has been a tremendous run for the Wildcats, who will host seventh-seeded Norwich University on Tuesday evening (7PM).

The other two Tuesday night quarterfinal matches are fourth-seeded Simmons University hosting fifth-seeded Regis College, and sixth-seeded Elms College traveling to third-seeded Lasell University, with both contests getting underway at 7PM. Lasell and Simmons both had a 10-3 mark in GNAC play this fall, but the Lasers defeated the Sharks head-to-head earlier in the season. 

The semifinals are slated for Thursday evening, followed by the GNAC Final on Saturday afternoon, hosted by the highest remaining seed.

#6 Elms at #3 Lasell - 7PM
#7 Norwich at #2 JWU - 7PM

3/6 winner vs 2/7 winner 

Championship - Saturday, November 5
Final at highest remaining seed
