SJC Women's Cross Country Team Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honor

STANDISH, Maine - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) team academic awards have been announced the 2016 cross country season and the Saint Joseph's College women's team has been honored.

For a team to be considered for this distinction, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum team grade point average of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.

Under the watch of Head Coach Scott Hutchinson last fall, the Monks' 13 individuals posted a collective 3.43 GPA. Saint Joseph's is the only team from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to receive the national honor.
