Track & Field Competes in NCAA New England Indoor Championships

STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College indoor track & field program featured individuals in the NCAA New England Regional Championship on Saturday.

At the men's championship, which was hosted by Springfield College, freshman Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.), junior Billy Brooks (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), senior Faisal Abdillahi (Lewiston, Maine) and sophomore Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine) ran in the distance medley relay and set a new program record with an 11:13.25 performance, which was good for 14th overall.

Senior Amber Dostie (Standish, Maine) competed in the women's championship, hosted by Smith College, and finished 21st with a 5:29.34 time in the 1-Mile event.
