Feature Questions

Why did you choose Saint Joseph's College?

2:1 female to male ratio, good baseball program, good distance from home

What is/was your favorite class at St. Joe's and why?

I don’t pick favorites. All classes and professors are outstanding

What was your first job (actually received a paycheck)?

Bag boy at Market Basket

Who would you like to trade places for a day with and why?

Actor Gary Busey - because I’d like to understand what it feels like to know that I used to be relevant, just to completely fall off the reservation…

Or Jon Stamos because he has a great cleft chin and I’d be able to advocate for all the cleft chins out there

What is on your "Bucket List?"

Get out of the bucket, find out who coined the term “bee’s knees” and ask them what it means...if the answer is inadequate, then I will have to hit them - the saying makes no sense; Literally walk a mile in someone else’s shoes - none of that figurative stuff;  Find Nemo; Hang out in an igloo

Talent you'd most like to have:

Turn anything I want into money

What do you drive?

Toyota Highlander, with spray painted rims. Ya know what I’m sayin…

What is your motto?

When life gives you lemon’s...say forget the lemons and bail

Do you have any superstitions before you go into a big game?

I’m not superstitious

Why did you choose your jersey #?

#4 was given to me, 2 is my favorite number

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete at SJC?

Either sliding into home for the winning run of the GNAC’s sophomore year, or starting the double play to win the GNAC’s junior year

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My family, my sisters. Taught me how to do things the right way and especially how you treat people

Can you tell us something about you that most people don't know?

Through my career here at St. Joe’s I’ve had some strange health issues: a bout of appendicitis before a game at Colby my freshman year and I passed two kidney stones before the trip to Florida last year

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Well I’ll have a psychology major and a business minor, so hopefully I’ll be working a good job or in grad school for my psych degree.

If you could meet anyone (past or present) who would it be and why?

Mila Kunis, which is fairly self-explanatory, or Kevin Garnett just to experience what an uncensored conversation with him would be like.

What are your hobbies?

Golfing, going to the lake, floating down the river, LTD-living the dream

What is your ideal day away from athletics?

All of my hobbies put into a day’s time.

Do you plan on playing sports or coaching after you graduate?

I’m still working on fine tuning my predicting-the-future skills, all I know for sure is that this is not going to be my last year around baseball.

What are your personal and team goals for this season?

I like to have reasonable goals, so for a team goal I’d like to never lose a game, ever. And individually I’d like to never make an error at shortstop again.

Realistically, I’d hope we can get back to the regional tournament and do some damage there.

Anything else you'd like to add?

I didn’t realize this was a math test…I’m no mathematician .

*** I’d like people to know that I am a sarcastic person and some of these answers reflect said personality!
