Feature Questions:

Why did you choose Saint Joseph's College?

I transferred here halfway through my freshman year from Stonehill College. St. Joe's offered everything that I didn't find at Stonehill - an exercise science major, small classes where teachers knew my name, a DIII lacrosse team, and it's right on Sebago Lake - my favorite place in the world.

What is/was your favorite class at St. Joe's and why?

I really liked exercise testing and prescription with Tom Dann. I took it in the fall of my senior year and everything we had learned in the three years prior came together and we did some personal training for people on campus which was fun.

What was your first job (actually received a paycheck)?

I worked at Long Beach Marina on Sebago Lake for four summers in a row, it was the perfect job to have as a teenager.

Who would you like to trade places for a day with and why?

Ricky Bobby's wife Carley Bobby, because she's a driver's wife; or Kyle Richards from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

What is on your "Bucket List?"

Run a marathon, visit Australia, be a Jeopardy contestant

Talent you'd most like to have:

I'd love to be able to teleport so I'd never have to deal with traffic or long drives ever again.

What do you drive?

2008 Chevy Cobalt

What is your motto?

Whether it's in practice or during a game I like to ask myself, "Is someone working harder than me?" and if I can answer yes, I try and fix it.

Do you have any superstitions before you go into a big game?

My hair has to be braided up under my pony tail and I have to be on Amelia Santos' right side when we run our warm-up laps. If either of these things doesn’t happen I'm off my game

Why did you choose your jersey #?

I was given #8 my freshman and sophomore year, but #20 was always my number for both soccer and lacrosse. Going into my junior year after Lauren Hagerman had graduated and we were ordering new uniforms, I went back to it and it feels a lot more natural.

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete at SJC?

Beating Norwich in quadruple overtime my sophomore year. There's no better feeling than being in a pig-pile of your screaming teammates.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My parents - they've supported me, given me guidance, and taught me right from wrong. Also my two older brothers, who have always looked out for me and toughened me up along the way.

Can you tell us something about you that most people don't know?

I'm deathly afraid of birds, and I can't really tell time on an analog clock.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Working as a physical therapist in southern Maine

If you could meet anyone (past or present) who would it be and why?

Will Ferrell or Chelsea Handler - they're both hysterical, it's hard to choose between the two of them.

What are your hobbies?

I like running and working out, spending time with my family and my friends, and doing pretty much anything outside.

What is your ideal day away from athletics?

My ideal day would be spent at my camp on Sebago. I'd wake up and go for a run, then take the boat over to the Sandbar for the day with friends, and head back to my camp for a cookout and fire with my whole family.

Do you plan on playing sports or coaching after you graduate?

I'd love to play in a women's league, and I definitely see myself coaching at a local high school in the next couple of years, and coaching my kids someday.

What are your personal and team goals for this season?

This season my personal goal has been to be able to look back after each game and know I gave it my all, had no regrets, and left everything on the field. Our team goal is to of course win GNACs, but also to go further than any team has in the program's history.

Anything else you'd like to add?

I'd just like to thank Anna, Kate, Coach Lewis, and every one of my teammates I've played with over the past four years for making my athletic career here at St. Joe's such an incredible and unforgettable experience.
