Saint Joseph's Athletic Trainers and Athletes to Visit Children's Hospital

STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph’s College Athletic Training Department is spearheading an effort to help support the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center during the holiday season.

This year the Athletic Training Department will be working alongside the SJC student-athletes by visiting the local Children’s Hospital on December 9th. The training room staff will be collecting donations of toys (for all ages), gift cards and Saint Joseph’s apparel.

Donations can be dropped off at the Athletic Training room at any time or at the admissions table during the men’s and women’s basketball games on Saturday, December 4th or Wednesday, December 8th.

Saint Joseph’s athletes are encouraged to take part in the visit to help spread holiday spirit to the children and their families at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital on December 9th. Athletes able to make the trip should report to the training room no later than 12:15 PM that day, as the group is scheduled to depart campus at 12:30 PM.

The Athletic Training staff would like to thank all contributors and athletes in advance for their efforts to make a difference for the children of the Barbara Bush Hospital. For more information, please contact Neil Carroll or Tiffany Miller-Gagnon at 207/893-6677.
