Pratt Breaks Monks’ Single-Season Doubles Mark

STANDISH, ME – SJC sophomore first baseman Mike Pratt (Dartmouth, MA/Bishop Stang) broke the Monks' single-season doubles record in a 12-inning loss to University of Southern Maine last week.

Pratt, who now has 20 doubles through 36 games, rapped his 19th two-base hit o left-center in the fifth inning against the Huskies at USM Baseball Stadium on Wednesday, April 20th to break the mark formerly held by Doug Mayo '95 and Dustin Spiller '08.

As of April 19th, Pratt ranked sixth in all of NCAA DIII Baseball in both doubles and doubles per game (0.59).

Pratt is currently hitting .421 (48-114) with 19 runs, 20 doubles, one home run and 29 RBI with a .623 slugging percentage and a .466 on-base percentage. He ranks second on the team in hits and third in batting average as of April 26th.
