Keneborus Becomes Fifth Monk to Reach 200-Hit Plateau

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's senior outfielder Todd Keneborus (Hollis Center, ME/Cheverus) became the fifth player in program history to reach the 200-career-hit mark in a win over Gordon College on Monday.

Keneborus, the 2010 GNAC Baseball Player of the Year and ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-America honoree, entered the non-conference contest requiring two hits to reach the landmark. He went 2-4 with a pair of singles in the Monk' 10-5 victory to join Steve Osborne '01, Jesse LaCasse '03, Luke Enman '08 and Ben Grant-Roy '10 in the exclusive 200-hit club.

The senior captain is currently hitting .423 (52-123) with 32 runs, eight doubles, two triples, four home runs and 34 RBI. He leads the team in runs, hits, triples, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (.618) and OBP (.497).

For his career, Keneborus is hitting .400 (200-500) with 135 runs, 37 doubles, 21 triples, 13 home runs, 144 RBI and 19 stolen bases. He is the program's all-time leader in triples, ranks fifth in hits, RBI and doubles and sixth in runs scored.

Keneborus also ranks third in program history in slugging percentage (.636) and fourth in on-base percentage (.474). His extra-base hit total (71) is the third-highest in the SJC Baseball annals.
