Partridge Tabbed as GNAC Pitcher of the Week

STANDISH, Maine - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College senior Josh Partridge (Deerfield, N.H.) has been named as the GNAC Corvias Pitcher of the Week.

Partridge was dominant in a pair of high pressure relief outings last week, as the senior closer fanned five batters and allowed three hits in 4.2 innings en route to picking up two saves in one-run victories over Nichols College and Lyndon State. In a 4-3 triumph over Nichols on Friday, Partridge allowed one hit and struck out two in 2.2 frames and fanned three batters while allowing two hits across two innings in a 5-4 win over Lyndon State on Saturday.

Through 16 games for the 11-5 Monks, Partridge is 1-1 with two saves and a 2.70 ERA. He has fanned 18 batters with nine walks and a .210 opponent's batting average over 16.2 innings. For his career, the senior southpaw is 12-4 with nine saves and 121 strikeouts in 131.1 innings with a 2.33 ERA and a .224 opponent's batting average.

The GNAC weekly honor is the third of Partridge's career.

Saint Joseph's will host Colby College today at 4:00 PM.
