Eric Cavers was a standout high school baseball player at Oxford Hills where he was a captain and team MVP his senior year. Eric then played college baseball at Franklin Pierce University and became one of the most celebrated players in the program history. During his junior year he served as Team Captain and was eventually named NCAA II Player of the Year, Rawlings Small College Player of the Year,  and MVP of the New England All-Star Game (DI & DII). He was later drafted by the Houston Astros in the 10th Round as the 343rd overall pick. Eric played three years of professional baseball in the Astros System. Eric serves as the Hitting Coach and Catching Coach for the Monks. He lives on Thompson Lake in Otisfield with his wife Ivory and their three sons Nolan, Finley, and Sawyer.
