Please share some of your favorite SJC memories - on and off the field:

I had an amazing experience at SJC. I made a lot of really good friends, many of whom I am still in close touch with. We had a very successful run on the field, winning three conference championships and posting a 111-51-2 record. I had the chance to play with some of the most decorated players in program history including Steve Osborne, Pat Lessard, Jesse LaCasse and Brent Dan. Playing for Coach Sanborn was a very impactful experience in my life, along with pitching coach Bob Doyle. I am also indebted to SJC for bringing me back as an assistant coach for a year, during that time I met my wife, Sarah!

Notable performances as an SJC athlete (records, championships, individual accolades):

I think I am most proud of the fact the I pitched in more games than anyone else that has ever worn the uniform. I held some appearances and saves records at one point. I remember winning the MAC championship in 2000, I covered first base to end the game and was mobbed by the entire team. Postseason baseball was my favorite time of year.

Where are you employed? Please tell us your job title, duties, how long you've been there, etc.:

I am currently in my fourth year as the head baseball coach at Amherst College in Massachusetts. Prior to that I was at the head coach at Clark University, the pitching coach at the University of Maine, the head coach at Daniel Webster College, an assistant at SJC, and the head coach at Saint Anselm College. I also worked for the Toronto Blue Jays for two years (rookie ball and double-A) and managed in the FCBL for five summers.

Please tell us about your family, if applicable:

My wife, Sarah, is a Maine native and so is my daughter Rosalie (6). My son Brennan (3) joined the team while we were in Worcester. My mon & dad (John & Joyce) still go to all of our games just like they did when I was playing at SJC.

What do you do for fun?

Sarah and I chase our kids around for fun! Our kids are at the age where they are getting involved in more things so that's fun and it keeps us on the move! I love spending time with friends, getting up to Maine and watching the Patriots!
