STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College will welcome a class of three individuals and one team into the Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 14th.
Sister Joyce Mahany, Brent Dan '02, Sue (Picard) Rondeau '02 and the 1977 Baseball Team comprise the seventh class to be honored by the college.
Danielle (Bouchard) Santucci '95 will also be on hand to officially accept her induction at this year's ceremony. The former women's basketball standout was voted into the SJC Hall of Fame in 2002.
The festivities begin at 5:30 PM with a reception in the Harold Alfond Center lobby followed by the ceremony at 6:30 PM in the Saint Joseph's College Dining Hall. Ticket information and details are available by calling the Alumni Office at 207-893-7890.

Sister Joyce Mahany
Sister Joyce Mahany served as the Director of Development at Saint Joseph's College for 23 years, 1970-1993. During her time at St. Joe's, she spearheaded numerous fundraising efforts, including the installation a new hardwood floor in the "Chamber of Horrors," construction of the baseball and softball fields and having lights installed on both diamonds, and the addition of the Harold Alfond Center.
Brent Dan ‘02 (Baseball)
Dan, one of the true workhorses in the storied history of the Monks Baseball program, fanned 220 batters in 220 innings and went 21-10 on the mound in four seasons at Saint Joseph's.
Sue (Picard) Rondeau ‘02 (Basketball & Softball)
Picard enjoyed one of the most successful multiple-sport careers in Saint Joseph's College Athletics history. In four years as a basketball and softball player, Picard helped the Monks capture six conference titles, five regional championships and a pair of national tournament berths.
1977 Monks Baseball Team
The 1977 Saint Joseph's Baseball team captured the first conference championship in SJC Athletics history. The Monks posted a 12-2 district record and went 6-0 in Western Maine Athletic Conference play that year en route to winning the WMAC Tournament.
(Voted into the SJC HOF in 2002) Danielle (Bouchard) Santucci ‘95 (Basketball)
Bouchard ranks among the women's basketball program's career leaders in virtually every statistical category. She scored 1,437 points, ranking her sixth at the time of her induction. Bouchard averaged 22.2 points per game and holds the season single record for most points scored with 621.
The Saint Joseph's Athletics Hall of Fame was founded in 2000 and the addition of this year's inductees will increase the membership to 50.
