PRESQUE ISLE, MAINE - The Saint Joseph's College men's
basketball team improved to 11-5 with a 79-57 win at Maine Presque
Isle. Three Monks registered double figures and 14 players scored
in the lop-sided contest.
D-3 Independent Player of the Week senior Chad Pulkkinen (Windham,
ME) led the way with 16 points including 4/7 from behind the
arc.
St. Joe's held a comfortable 46-31 lead at the break and maintained
a sizeable lead throughout the second half despite the efforts of
Presque Isle's Brett Miles who finished with 26 points.
Senior Matt Plummer (Naples, ME) recorded 11 points, 5 boards and
junior Marcus Alexander (Niceville, FL) had 10 points and 5 boards.
