Murphy Named Association of Division III Independents Student-Athlete of the Month Award Winner for December

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Basketball student-athlete Elbie
Murphy of Saint Joseph's College, was named today as the
recipient of the Association of Division III Independents
Student-Athlete of the Month award for December 2006.
Murphy, a sophomore from Loudonville, NY, averaged 10 points, 5.8
rebounds and 3.8 steals during the month. Murphy also dished
out 19 assists and blocked eight shots in six games, four of which
were victories.
